Teacher Training Courses in A Coruña, Spain

The Training in A CORUÑA, Spain took place on 7 to 11 March 2022.

It consisted of several learning activities on topics related to the Spanish stones. Slate, granite and marble; Building with stone I: Thicknesses (building with natural stone); The Assembling and disassembling of the whole building; the Replacement of building parts and Stone roofing with traditional techniques (slate).

During the training the participants, professors from partner country universities in the BKSTONE consortium also paid visits to Granite Technologic Centre (where they were introduced to GTC activities), to a stone quarry and a manufacturing company.

The professors during their training visit in A CORUÑA paid a visit to the Town Hall of O Porriño, where they discussed with the mayor and the local government team about the future of the stone market and the stone labor market.
