13 Feb Teacher Training Courses in Murcia, Spain
A Teacher Training Course (VET) took place in Cehegin (Murcia) on 4 – 8 April 2022. The training consisted of learning activities, practical trainings, lab visits and field related activities and 9 professors from the partner countries universities, part of the BKSTONE consortium participated in this training.
Two presentations related to “VET training in the stone sector” and “Natural stone used in construction” David Caparrós Pérez carried out in the course of the training which was followed by a visit to the CTM laboratory of 27 certified tests for stone.
PhD. Francisco Hita López, with the support of David Caparrós, explained the Health and Safety main strategies to be applied in the stone sector which were concretized after that in the field work realized in the Sierra La Puerta Quarry and the facilities of Transforstone .
The staff members also were introduced to the architectural and heritage characteristics, as well as eco-design and circular economy developed thanks to the use of natural stone in Murcia.
